


The Stint integration connects the TimeEdit scheduling and resource management system with the Canvas learning management system (LMS), ensuring that changes made in TimeEdit are automatically synchronized with Canvas. This guarantees that students and instructors always have access to accurate and up-to-date information about lectures and activities.

TimeEdit schedules are seamlessly synchronized as calendar events in Canvas. Any changes made in TimeEdit are automatically updated in Canvas within 15 minutes. Events are assigned contextually to ensure they are always displayed correctly, allowing both students and staff to rely on an accurate and up-to-date schedule.

TimeEdit’s dynamic data types integrate seamlessly with Canvas’s structured entities, including courses, sections, groups, and users. This ensures precise synchronization of teaching units, activities, students, and instructors, as well as academic cohorts and groups.
The integration is designed for maximum flexibility, allowing each institution to customize configurations and settings to fit its unique needs. It supports dynamic mapping of TimeEdit event types to Canvas, enables priority and context-based rules, and ensures the automatic deletion of outdated reservations.


Synchronization operates on two levels to ensure accurate and up-to-date information. A fast update mode runs at predefined intervals between 5 and 30 minutes, while a full synchronization occurs every 24 hours, overriding any manual changes made in Canvas.

We take data privacy seriously, ensuring that all information is stored in a secure, encrypted SYNC database. Expired reservations are automatically deleted, and log files are removed after three weeks. Data is stored in a Norwegian data center, with additional security measures available upon request.
